Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Sherri Dodd knew from an early age that her life would be committed to helping others. After trusting Christ as Savior at age 12, she committed her life to  cross-cultural missions. Sherri later earned a Graduate of Theology degree majoring in Christian Education. In 1975, Sherri married her sweetheart, Randy. She was 19 years old when she and her husband first moved overseas as missionaries to Oslo, Norway. She has worked for over twenty-five years as a pioneer missionary alongside her husband, establishing three international churches in Europe. She speaks Norwegian and German.

Sherri is a gifted public speaker with a heart for people and a broad base of missionary experience which makes her a much sought after speaker. As a Christian, she longs for God to use her in every way possible to build up His kingdom. Since she moved back to Georgia in the summer of 1998, Sherri has been speaking to ladies' groups and allowing them to experience her extensive teacup collection through her "Treasured by God" tea parties. Sherri has a humorous wit and an unusual ability to put thoughts in word pictures.  She is a creative encourager who is resourceful and uplifting. She has three children, two daughters born in Norway and a son born in Germany. Sherri's children are so spaced out in age that she laughs and says "I'm just staying current with all the mothers of the world!"  Her sense of humor has helped maintain her sanity though the many moves, changes and challenges of life. She is a member of Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia where she enjoys singing in the choir for the classic service.

Sherri also reaches out to individuals through her "StraightForward Life Coaching" ministry. As a coach, she encourages and challenges those who desire assistance to excel in life. Sherri is also the founder and president of Advance Global Coaching, a non-profit organization that provides coaching in the missions commmunity.
